Using satellite images, weather data, and GeoAI models, we generate insights into the crop’s growing season. The complexity of data is hidden behind the scenes, leaving farmers with clear, easy-to-understand information.
Here’s the beauty of it: the farmer doesn’t have to worry about how it works behind the scenes. Our system takes all that complex data and turns it into clear, useful insights. For example, we create maps that show how healthy the crops are and whether they’ve faced any stress. It’s like having a window into the field’s condition—all without stepping outside.

We also track rainfall and soil moisture—the essentials for healthy crops. To calculate these indices, our system doesn’t just rely on real-time data.
This deeper analysis ensures the information we provide is accurate and reliable, even though the historical data remains behind the scenes. Farmers don’t see it directly, but its impact is felt in the precision of every insight.

The beauty of SenseGrass lies in the simplicity of its reports. After the harvest date is input (as long as it’s not a future date), farmers can access insights about their crops up until that point. Even if harvest is ongoing, they can receive insights up to the current date from the planting date. No raw data to sift through—just clear, actionable insights. With one click, farmers can generate reports to share with insurers, cutting out the need for field inspections and speeding up claims validation.
I often think back to that first conversation in the field. The challenges that farmer described aren’t unique; they’re the reality for farmers everywhere. That’s why we built SenseGrass to work for all types of crops and fields, starting with the most common ones and expanding to meet the needs of diverse farms.
